  I am trying to set up a food blog. My domain is dancingduckorganics.com. When I view it on WordPress, it is has wordpress in the domain. Did I set up my domain correctly? I have purchased HostGator to host my site. I plan on going with a free wordpress theme to get started. HELP!

  Hi there,

  In order to use your domain dancingduckorganics.com hosted at Hostgator with your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to change the domain nameservers at your domain host, and point them over to WordPress.com. Our nameservers are:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Then, you’ll need to purchase the mapping subscription upgrade so that you can map your domain over to your WordPress.com site.
