Food menu admin in Canapé theme

  Hello,

  I’ll like to modify some content added in the pages from the food menu (three pages added into the menu) but when i click into “food menus” i cannot see anything although i have like 6 items added.

  How can i enter to that content?

  Yes, of course. I see it too but not the edition options of what i write from in the back.

  I can add new pages and content on the food menu but not change and edit what i already put.

  I think there is a bug because where i should have the pages and content added to the food menu i don’t see nothing detaile but at the top i see how many pages i added to this.

  Hi there,

  You will need to create a page from My Site > Pages > Add, and then apply the Menu Page Template to that page.

  When you do that, the page you create will show all of your food items on it.

  You’ll find this information in the theme guide under Build Your Food Menu:

  Hello there, I have the same problem.
  Everything I put in the menu, it can be seen on the menu page, but they cannot be changed, deleted or anything. I just dont see the menu items anywhere.

  @eduvakk, read through @dcoleonline’s response right above yours. The Food Menu is dynamically generated and will show the pages that you have set to the Menu Page Template. Those menu items you cannot directly edit or change.

  Hello there, and thank you!

  I found two ways to create menu items:
  1) https://wordpress.com/types/nova_menu_item/”domain.com”
  2) https://”domain”.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=nova_menu_item

  The first one doesn’t allow me to edit anything, just create, but the second one shows every item I created, allowing to edit.
  That works fine for me :)

  Yeah, you can manually create the menu items as you desire and not use the dynamic food menu feature.
