Foodpress Question

  I keep getting referrals from Foodpress, so I assume my posts get featured there. However, looking at Foodpress, I haven’t found a single one. Can I see or get a notification if/when I get featured?

  Hi. According to the official blog post introducing FoodPress, featured blogs are hand-picked from a selection of food-related tags:
  http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/11/01/introducing-foodpress/

  But if it works like Freshly Pressed, they would have notified you if your blog was “featured”.

  So, my next guess is that you have an article with a food-related tag that shows up automatically on the FoodPress.com tags. For example, if you recently wrote an article tagged “baking”, it would appear here:
  http://foodpress.com/featured-tags/baking/

  That’s exactly what I thought that it would show up there, because it’s the exact link that the referral shows, but my posts never show up there. Thanks for your reply.

  Perhaps your post doesn’t show up anymore because it’s a dynamic list which updates in real time… and by the time you realize you’re on it, you’ve been replaced by more recent posts about baking. Just a thought. Of course you can contact staff to get an official explanation:
