  I can’t figure out how to edit the footer! Need to change the background photo, and all the text, but there is no ‘edit’ button in the footer section.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,

  The footer widget area uses your Custom Header Image as its background, which can be set in Customize → Header Image.

  The footer credits are required per our terms of service, so you won’€™t be able to delete or hide them. (Under “Attribution” here: wordpress.com/tos).

  Also, you’ll need to use CSS via the Custom Design feature which is a part of the Premium and Business upgrades in order to have more flexibility with adding text to the footer.

  If you decide to purchase a plan so that you can alter the footer, you can contact our CSS forums for help with any snippets you need.
