  I am trying to add a ‘contact us’ hyperlink (so it directs to another page) in the footer. I cant seem to edit the footer though…

  The theme you are using, Lovecraft, https://wordpress.com/themes/lovecraft/ has three widget areas in the footer. You can add a widget there to display links or even a contact form in a text widget.

  If you are having difficulty adding widgets from within the Customizer, you can also add them from your WP Admin dashboard https://koknimuslimsocietysydney.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
