Footer – Adding Widgets

  Hey –
  Does anyone know if it’s possible to add widgets to the footer of this theme? I’d love to have thumbnails of other posts at the bottom when people have finished reading a piece.

  Hi Gena,

  There is no footer widget area available on the Fictive theme. The theme guide says:

  Fictive includes one optional widget area alongside your content, configured by going to Customize → Widgets.

  Hi Gena,

  Like musicdoc1 said, you won’t be able to have footer widgets, but you can use the Related Posts feature. You already have it enabled, but it won’t display until you have 10 published posts.

  If you enable the “Use a large and visually striking layout” setting for Related Posts, you’ll see the featured images for your posts appear along with their titles.
