Footer below white space

    Dear all,

    I have check in “customize” and removed footer. I don’t find any option to unselected after several tries.
    I have check with elementor that there is no marging, even set minus marging.
    I have check the pluggins installed if there is not footer option to desactivated.
    I have check the edit theme footer .php but if i remove all it create additional problem and no more footer.

    I’m not enough skilled to to identify from “inspect” and when i do inspect then the space disappear…

    Someone could help me to remove this white space below my footer ?

    How come you cannot see ? below the blue footer .

    I checked that again. It seems this issue is only on google chrome. I checked it on Firefox.

    Hi again, its this piece of CSS code which does that margin to the bottom on:

    style="margin-bottom: 119px !important;"
    It is directly implemented on the body tag. That means its not changeable via CSS customizing.

    I think the programmer had some good reason to put this margin in. There are two ways you can solve this issue. First, you can deal with that white border at the bottom. Second would be to do a workaround to keep the margin (which is important) and get rid of the border. Therefor you will need to directly work on the theme and change a bit of code.

    On WordPress.com its only possible to do that with the right plan.

    Hi Lamar,

    I resolved it !

    Seems like it was a conflict with the “positioning” with Elementor. One column has kind of manual positioning and i changed it to default and use the advanced menu for positioning.

    Anyway, thank you for your follow up. Appreciated.

    so it was a problem with Elementor. Thanks for the info and great you solved this issue! I will keep that in mind for the next time.
