Footer for Frever Theme
-
I understand that it is required to leave the footer untouched, and I have no problem giving credit to the theme and who created it.
BUT the footer also includes the message “Another beautiful wedding theme from WordPress.com”. My blog/site has nothing to do with weddings, so I am a little peeved that I went through the trouble of paying to upgrade and customize my blog only for it to be referred to as a “another beautiful wedding theme”.
Is there any way to take that sentence out of the footer? I will still keep the theme credits.
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s totally annoying and it limits the use of the theme. I know bloggers who use that theme and none of them are wedding bloggers. I have flagged this thread for Staff attention and hopefully they will remove that pgrase.

Howdy! This is something new we’re trying specifically with the “wedding themes” (Forever, Ever After, and Lovebirds). We appreciate your feedback, and I’ve passed it along to the team for consideration.

Thanks for looking into this. As I cannot be the only one using this theme who isn’t blogging about weddings, I think the “another beautiful wedding theme” would be a turn-off for a good portion of users thinking about going with this theme.
This is my first wordpress blog. If I had known about that tagline before hand, I would not have gone with the forever theme.

It seems like the message “Another beautiful wedding theme from WordPress.com” has been now changed to the standard WP.com credits footer.
Thank you very much for considering this request
