Footer Links/Menu
-
Amateur question here. I am using the free theme, Orvis. I am trying to figure out how to add a footer where I can display a menu. I would like to add my privacy policy at the bottom of my page but I do not see an option for this. I would assume that all themes have this option since most if not all websites have this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! Not every theme has a footer widget or menu area. If you want to continue using Orvis, you could put your privacy policy link in either your sidebar (in a text widget) or main menu.
If you prefer to find a theme with a footer menu or footer widget area, let me know and I can help.

If you don’t specifically need a portfolio theme — Orvis is designed to showcase portfolio projects in addition to posts — you might want to check out Libre 2:
https://libre2demo.wordpress.com/
Its blog layout and design are similar to Orvis’s and it has three footer widget area. You can also use the Content Options panel in the Customizer to set the blog to display excerpts instead of having to add a Read More tag to each post.
Let me know what you think.
