Footer widget in Textbook Theme

    The textbook theme says footer widgets are added left to right but the widgets I add are being displayed vertically. Can I force them left to right?

    Notice there under “Widget Areas” there are two widget areas: the sidebar and the footer. It looks like the footer is where the widgets are added left to right. Might that work for your needs?

    And to answer your question, there aren’t any widget settings that allow for a site owner to change the top-down or left-right orientation of widgets in a widget area.
