Footer widget problem

  I have the theme ocean mist. On my settings it says that infinite scroll is disabled as I have footer widgets. In this footer widget I have all my categories displayed which I don’t want. BUT I can find my footer widget to remove them!

  The theme has the unusual feature of the categories displaying as you describe. It’s also a retired theme now and themes are retired when they do not support all WordPress.com features. Choose another theme.

  Oh no! I’ve just spent the week tweaking it and improving it. I guess I’ll have to do it all over again with a new theme then! Thanks anyway!

  Hi! Just one more thing. I had no idea that themes could be retired. Don’t you think that WordPress should flag this up or have a sell be date so people are aware? I know several people who use this theme, and I will tell them!
