Footers

This is a question that I have seen asked a ton of times… How do you edit the “text” in the footer of your blog. I have seen it done on Mark Cuban’s blog at http://www.blogmaverick.com. And he has a WordPress blog, very similar to all of ours, you notice this by his favicon and the toolbar which will appear while all WordPress users are logged in and viewing his site.

I want to be able to add a copyright text line to my footer (like the one on BlogMaverick.com)… how do I do this?

    Thanks!

That’s a VIP blog and those blogs can do things that we normal folks can’t. (The VIP program – if you get accepted – is $500 per month.)

Bottom line is that you cannot edit the text in the footer because it is coded into the HTML files of the theme, something we don’t have access to. The best you can do is use CSS pseudo elements to style the footer but be aware that pseudo elements don’t work in IE.
