Footers messed up with Bueno theme on Chrome
-
Please take a look at the footers on this site:
http://inthedeed.wordpress.com/In Chrome, Footer 3 is actually wrapping around to make two rows of footers. Ugh.
In IE or in Firefox, the footers go across in one row with no problems.
Chrome Version 22.0.1229.94 m
IE version 9.0.8112.1642
Firefox 14.0.1
I tried rearranging the order of the footers, etc., but it made no difference. I tried looking at it on different computers. But Chrome always seems to display the footers incorrectly.

I’m not seeing any problem is Chrome 22.0.1229.94 myself.
Would you please check with all extensions temporarily disabled?
-
I turned off the extensions, and still looks that way on mine. I only had the News Squares extension — which I don’t use anyway, so I’ll leave it off.
I see my version has an “m” after the numbers. When I check on the version it says it is up to date.
I am running Windows XP. I have Vista at home, and it looks the same.
-
Hm, very odd. Would you please try clearing your browser’s cache?
-
I had done that already, but I did it again.
No luck.
The first time I used the footers, everything looked fine. Then it seemed to go haywire on Chrome. I had put some formatting into the Text Widget, but after it went haywire, I cleared all of that out. (Plus it still looks fine on other browsers.)
-
Hm, would you please take a screenshot and upload it via Media -> Add New so I can see what you’re seeing?

FYI — I did go from work to home in the interim, and it does look screwy on both computers with Chrome.
-
I think both of my monitors are not huge. My portable is a 17″. Could there be coding in there for a monitor size? Could there be hidden coding in one of the footers that would only impact Chrome?
-
This is very strange. I just tried at a much smaller resolution than yours and still had no problems.
Is your home computer also running Chrome 22.0.1229.94 m?

Don’t know if it might come back, but I totally uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled it, and now the footers are working OK.
The version number is still the same as it was before.
I guess I’ll have to do that at work, too.
If you come up with any reasons why, let me know. I’d hate to have to do this very often.
-
Perfect. To be honest, I can’t think of any reason. I imagine there was a bad entry in the browser cache, but that should have been taken care of when you cleared it.
