How to insert a footnote? I downloaded the plugin but am having trouble with this step:
Extract the zip file and upload the uncompressed folder underneath your WordPress plugins folder (wp-content/plugins).I can’t find the plugins folder on my blog.

There is no such install plugins tab/button on any WordPress.COM hosted blogs now and there never has been one. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database.
