  Please help! I would like to put my essay onto word press for Microsoft Word but it is not letting me transfer my footnotes, is there any way to do this? Thank you in advance

  Yes, as long as the HTML code of the original is compatible with WordPress.com code limitations. See the Code support page.
  Links in text to footnotes will work as well, if they are formed correctly, and compatible.
