Footnote’s out of order.

    Hi. I’m working on a website that posts pieces online. We use some sort of footnote plugin that automatically formats footnotes in a [footnote][/footnote] block. Recently, I’ve been having issues where the footnotes will come up out of order, or some footnotes may not even be visible (sometimes, being stuck behind other footnotes). Can anybody point me toward a right direction? I’ve been working on this website for 6+ months and have never had an issue like this. I feel like I’ve tried a lot of fixes but none have work. Thanks!
