    Hi there, our website was hosted with HostGator but we had a WordPress account which we edited the site with.

    We have had the Hostgator suspended which had suspended the site for us.

    I have received a backup of the website files but I am unable to login to my wordpress editor to load these in there to have it hosted by wordpress too?

    Are there any options for me to recover this site through wordpress?

    No, it’s not hosted through WordPress.com, so we can’t help you with it here. You need to be over at WordPress.org, where the version of the software you used is supported. They can help you there.
