for a shared blog, does each user need a separate wordpress account?

  I want to designate a friend as an editor (I’m the administrator). She’ll be posting on our shared blog regularly and handling things when I can’t. Does she have to open a WordPress account to be added as an editor? She doesn’t need to start her own blog. We’re sharing one. Please tell me how to handle this.

  Yes, she needs a WordPress.com account, but in the registration process there’s a button for Start a Blog and one for Just an Account.
