For each article in a feed, show summary – doesnt't work?
-
Hi everyone,
I recently started up a blog at wordpress and I do not want the whole post to be visible. When I tried all the functions on a few test posts it did work (with the same theme and all). I deleted the tests posts once I started to let people know about the blog. We are currently two posts in and my setting is set to “for each article in a feed, show summary” but when you visit the blog the whole post is visible.
Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

On this page Settings > Reading are two settings > One is for setting the summary in your RSS feeds and one is for selecting how many posts to show on your front page. The two are not connected.
In order to display only excerpts of posts on your front page see here > the more tag > http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

Thanks!
I was confused because I must have pushed that button with the previous test posts I made without knowing what I did.
It all makes sense now. Cheers mate!
