    Hi —
    We had an exchange about making links iwthin a post to another post, and you were exceedingly helpful. But guess what, I was doing it right all along — I just didn’t know that. Why?

    Well, i am embarrassed by the answer. When I went to the post to check if the link opened, I only checked on the front few words of the post — the post intro, if you will. I did not actually open the post to find the link.

    As you know, which i only learned by trial and error — links, bolding, color fonts, etc. do not show up UNLESS the post is opened. I feel sheepish because it seems so obvious now.

    anyway, I send this email simply to say thanks for your help and to let you know the outcome . . . and to give you some insight of why your instructions were spot on but initially did not work for me!
