for some reason, i cant login to this wp site.

    i am able to login to my wp account just fine on the wordpress.com, but when i try to login to:
    https://www.sgtreport.com/wp-login.php

    using the same email address i use to login on wordpress.com, it tells me: ‘Unknown email address. Check again or try your username’

    when i try to login with my username, it tells me: ‘Error: The username snarevox is not registered on this site. If you are unsure of your username, try your email address instead.’

    when i select ‘lost your password?’, and enter either my username or my email address to reset my password, it tells me: ‘Error: There is no account with that username or email address’

    if that were true, i wouldnt be able to login to my account on wordpress.com, but i am logged in just fine, and i used the same credentials that were rejected on https://www.sgtreport.com/wp-login.php..

    why am i able to log in to my account on wordpress.com but unable to log in on https://www.sgtreport.com/wp-login.php ??
    please advise.

    It seems like you might be facing difficulties with a self-hosted WordPress.org website, and not with a WordPress.com-hosted one. WordPress.org is a free site-engine software, while WordPress.com is a web hosting company.
