For the FOURTH Time, I need help with bugs in the READER!!!

This is the fourth request for help with regards to no blogs showing up in my reader. I ‘follow’ many blogs and I receive email alerts when new blogs are posted and when I go to my reader, the page is blank. The screen looks like it’s pulsing grey and white and when I ‘select all’, a message appears that reads:
“loading interesting posts”
“please wait while we grab all the interesting posts, photos ,videos and more to show you in reader. It shouldn’t take long.”
This has been going on since new reader updates were announced. I have cleared my browsing history which was suggested to me by another member and that did not solve the problem. I have run a security scan to check for viruses and none were detected, so it is a WordPress reader bug that is causing the problem. I would appreciate it if someone would fix this as I am missing out on the many fine blogs that I follow and I cannot even find my own blog in the reader since the reader is empty.

Hi @shelbycourtland, someone flagged this thread for staff support. We’d be happy to help. I’ve tried logging into your reader using Chrome on a Mac, and I can see many items in your reader. Since the problem is not on your account, we’ll try to help you sort out whether it’s a browser issue, something on your computer that is incompatible, or whether it’s your internet connection. The browser is a great first place to start.
What browser you are using?
Do you see the same issue when using another browser on the same computer?
We’ll go from there.

I am using Internet Explorer 10. I have google chrome, but I don’t like using it. I’ve never had a problem before with using Internet Explorer, so I don’t see why I am all of a sudden having a problem now.

@supernovia, I shut down Internet Explorer and opened with Google Chrome and voila! Problem solved! Thanks for the suggestion of using different browsers. I now have all blogs showing up in my reader. Issue resolved!

Okay. We don’t want to make you use Chrome if you prefer another browser, but my guess is that you’ve got something in IE that’s blocking the download, or perhaps the data that is already downloaded is corrupt.
You mentioned in another thread that you tried clearing cache. Can you try that, and closing and restarting the browser, to see if that helps at all for IE?

I’ve been begging for help with regards to bugs in the ‘reader update’ and all three of my pleas for help have been met with a deafening silence from the staff at WordPress. What more can I do? Even the ‘contact’ form sends me straight to the forums instead of to WordPress staff for help. And it would appear that only other members are manning the forums and attempting to help other members and you expect people to pay for this when they can expect to receive no help when they need it? Seriously???!!
Actually everyone who has paid upgrades gets direct support from staff. Paid upgrades help cover our costs of running the site, as well as the cost of employing staff.
But we do want to be sure everyone to have a voice at WordPress.com if they want it. So we cover the costs of free sites, and the community here helps provide support. Staff in the forums act as moderators for the most part, and we help solve issues the community cannot.
