Force text onto next line
-
I am trying to do forced line breaks in the appropriate places for ‘name, phone number and email address’ as can be seen in the widget at the top of the sidebar on my site.
Is this possible with CSS?

<br />is a forced line break. But why not use the contact info widget instead? https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/contact-info/
Also, one Off-Topic comment: Even though you are using an image as a header for your site, you should still keep the Title of your site filled in under General settings, but uncheck the box where it says “display header text” or some such.
This information is included in the Header section of each of your website’s pages, which is important for search engines. Chag sameach.

Thanks for the response Jennifer and Chag Sameach to you too.
Thanks for pointing out the ommission of the site title, I have added it now.
Regarding the para break, Im not sure as to how to use that HTML tag as I thought its only CSS that one can change? Thanks. D -
If you are adding that HTML tag to a sentence, it will force a line break so that whatever is added after will wrap to the next line.
If you are talking about using this for adding contact information to your sidebar, I really recommend looking at the contact info widget.
Best wishes!

When adding that info to the text widget itself, you can try adding the following HTML between each line of text:
This will force a line break between lines of text on the text widget. That said I agree with @justjennifer that the Contact Info widget would be a good choice too. If you need to list two contacts, just add the widget twice. :)
Cheers!

@jerrysarcastic- your post in this thread has changed 3 times for me since I looked at it.
First there was a pink box where I assume you added some code.
Then there was a regular background where & n b s p was listed (without the spaces)
Now that is gone and there’s no sign of the code.
??!?

lol :D
Experiment to see if I can post this in a forum thread
Non-breaking Space
A common character entity used in HTML is the non-breaking space( ). -

If you highlight the space where it looks blank in Jerry’s post, you can see that “something” should be there.
Well the letters are now dancing on the screen, so it’s past bedtime for me.

@darrylcotton this explains things nicely, without breaking the forums.
