Forefront theme – featured image on posts 'page'
-
I’m using customized graphics as featured images on every page of my site. The featured image that I’ve designated for the site’s posts page doesn’t display. Will this be because in fact featured images will only display for individual posts, rather than for the shell page itself?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, Forefront does not put a featured image on the page you have set as your “posts” page, and the header image on Forefront is small and sits to the left of the menu.
One sort of far-fetched idea would be to add a featured image to a new post and set that post as a sticky post so that it always appears at the top of your blog page. We can then hide the title, metadata and content with the following.
.sticky.hentry .entry-header, .sticky.hentry .entry-content, .sticky.hentry .entry-meta { display: none; } -
Thanks for thinking of this creative solution thesacredpath, it’s appreciated. It’s good to have an option for further customizing the post page. I’ve got a sample graphic in place and will play with that now that I know hiding the meta data works!
