Forever: Need help with small fix

    Tiny detail that is really bugging me: There is a big gap in between my custom header image and the border for the menu. It looks like the image has been cut off which looks bad in my opinion.

    Is there anyway to eliminate this space or at least bring the image and border closer together?

    (Just getting started with learning CSS, so please forgive any silly errors already made or if this is a really basic, stupid question.)

    I don’t help with CSS editing. I’m just chiming in to say that I’m using Firefox 14.0.1 and I don’t see a big gap.

    Ok by big I mean about the height of the menu bar. I’ve checked in Chrome and Safari, but not Firefox. Is there any gap at all using Firefox?

  • I see what you mean, but I wouldn’t have thought your image was cut off (using Firefox) – it just looks centered vertically to me. However, to do what you want, add this to your CSS stylesheet:

    #masthead img, #featured-content img, #recent-content img, .entry-content img, .entry-thumb img, .comment-content img, .widget img {
        margin-bottom: -30px;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Z: Thank you so much. That is exactly what I wanted. Perfect!
