Forever: ORDER of comments after posts

Anyone who views a post I made yesterday (AEDST) about Jobs for Australians can see that whereas my response to the first person commenting followed that satisfactorily, my response to the second commenter appears above all three!
This is INCREDIBLY IRRITATING, and makes a nonsense of the thread.
Will someone please advise me how to ensure that comments and responses stay in their proper order?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Ah … so it’s simply the ‘older’ choice, timethief?
OK: I’ve done that; but it hasn’t linked each of my responses to the relevant comment: you’ll see that my response to Lignum Draco doesn’t follow it. So does that mean that everything’s going now to be aranged in time order, or what?!
This is frustrating …

Lignum Draco did not reply to the threaded comment. The reply was a general one to the post itself. Note that you have enabled threaded (nested) comments enabled as well. see 4. here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#other-comment-settings

No, I understand that: I mean that I replied to his comment, and the two show no sign of being linked in any way …
