Forever theme

  I am trying to use the FOREVER theme word press blog but when I activate it it doesn’t give me the same options like the front page with the slide show or the 4 pictures on the bottom and I was wondering if anyone could tell me why or how can I do it so it comes exactly the same :)

  Do I have to pay extra for that?

  I just activate it on mine but it looks just like a simple blog without the slide and the other picture :S please feel free to look at my blog :)

  You simply have to read the theme description and follow what’s there.

  To show only your four latest posts (with a Featured Image above each one, of course) in a neat grid on your home page just visit Appearance → Theme Options and click the checkbox there.

  Featuring posts in a slider on your home page is easy. You just need sticky posts with Featured Images. Every sticky post you have (up to 10) that has a Featured Image (at least 888 pixels wide) attached will show up there.

  Note that Optimal size for featured images is: width 888px, height maximum 355px.

  It’s not a slideshow. Its a featured post slider.

  The instructions above are correct and I can ascribe to that because I have used this same theme. You need to go over the instructions step by step to locate what you are doing wrong or not doing.

  Thanks! That helped me a lot .. to understand it is not a slide show give me a better idea of what I might e doing wrong :)

  Thanks :) I think I am getting it now :) After you told me is not a slide show :) I am writting some test articles and adding pictures as those links you sent me said :)

  I see them now at the front now I need to keep reading to know how they will show as a slide show :)

  They post slider will contain featured paosts. It will not automatically advance. The visitors have to click to advance the post slider.

  Hi Timethief,

  You seem to know a lot about the Forever theme. I changed the background color for a slideshow to “white” from “black” but it still shows up as black. Do you know why?
