Forever Theme: Four Latest Posts Glitch?

  I do not know if this is a temporary glitch, but on my blog: http://jgburdette.wordpress.com/ , I am using the Forever Theme. I am also using the option to show the four latest posts under the image slider. However, today the fourth latest post isn’t showing up. It’s like it isn’t even there. I’ve tried un-selecting the option. when I do this the post shows up. It just doesn’t when I have the option selected. This is the first time I’ve encountered this problem. Is there a way to correct it?

  Will you please go here > Settings > Reading and confirm that the number of posts you have set to display on your front page is a high enough number (11) to account for the items in the slider and the items in the 4 column display.

  If you have set the correct number on the Settings > Reading page then you will have to edit the post that’s not displaying on the front page and make sure the post visibility setting is “public”.

  Got it. I’ve had it set at 3 for awhile. I guess it took awhile to kick in. Thanks for your help.

  Hi,

  I am having a similar problem. I am just getting the blog set up and the post is showing up at the top but no photo. http://weddingsinjacksonhole.wordpress.com/ What am I doing wrong?

  Lindsey, have you tried setting a feature image for those posts?

  How many posts do you have set to display on the front page? See here > Settings > Reading
