Forever theme: getting rid of the outside border line AND menu item spacing

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,

    I’d really like to get rid of the outside line border on my blog. How can I do this?

    I would also like the menu items that i have listed horizontally on my blog to be more spaced out. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Please let me know – I appreciate your help so much.

    Hello maharobed,

    I think you might want to give these additions a whirl if you have Custom CSS.

    #page {
    	border: 0px;
    }

    #access li {
        padding-left: 20px;
        padding-right: 20px;
    }

    Somehow I am not seeing any changes between the before and after, after adding in the above code into CSS –

    Do you have another suggestion?

    Thank you so much for your help on this!

    I should also clarify that when I say “more spaced out”

    I mean to say that I would like the width of my website to stretch across the entire window and have there be less white space on the left and right borders.

    Thank you again!

    I reverified what I provided and it worked. It removes the outside border and also widens the navigation menu.

    I would be hesitant to “space out” your theme any more than it is…if you scroll past the initial grouping of pictures, the lines of text would already be extremely long and that would be tough to read.
