Forever Theme: New Post in Slider and in Text Version Below….?

  I have the Forever Theme because I like the automatic slider. I would like the newest post to display the featured image in the slider (which links to the post), but also as a text link/normal post on the home page located below the slider. Right now, it looks like it is one or the other. Is there a way to make a post be public/text appear on the home page AND sticky to the home page/displayed in the slider?

  Like you said, it’s the one or the other. A post isn’t supposed to show twice on the same page. No matter what the theme, sticky means removed from the “regular” posts section and placed on top of it.
