Forever Theme Pages/Categories Positioning

  Hi, I’d like to move the Pages bar above my header and display the categories underneath – is this possible with the Forever theme?

  Please and thank you!

  How do you move the navigation bar to the be above the header? Like in the Forever demo?

  I’ve moved the Pages bar above the header now. Here’s what I did:

  #access {
display:block;
position:absolute;
left:0;
top:85px;
border:0;
}

  Thanks timethief for directing me to the solution. I’m about to figure out if I can do the same with Categories widget.

  A quick note: being in preview mode buggered up the positioning for some reason. The number I had to put in was actually 28 (not 85) in the end.

  Still looking to put Categories underneath the header.

  I don’t help with CSS editing but the upgrade does come with Staff support.

  While searching the forums I’ve noticed you’ve helped a lot of people!

  After a tinker with the Custom Menu I’ve come up with a compromise and put both Categories and Pages together, it seems to be the only way to do it.
