  hi there, i need to change my email address, my transaction ID [redacted]

  Thank you to our quick acting volunteers who tagged this thread to remove your transaction ID number, which is information that could allow someone to take over your account. These are public forums which are indexed and cached by search engines.

  If you cannot remember your password (I assume for a different account than this one), you can reset your password following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-password

  After you have logged in to the correct account, you can then update the email address on your account page https://wordpress.com/me/account
