Forgive my stupidity

  I was under the impression that this was a site that with a few click of my mouse I could have a site up and running. Do I need to use frontpage or some other program to upload my site? I only ask becuz I cannot find anything to create pages.

  WordPress.com is all here. Sign in, go to dashboard, click on write. Hit publish when done. Voilà. You are up and running.

  I have this on my global dashboard page —> I have Dashboard, Profiles and Upgrades. Under that I have Dashboard, Blog Stats, Blog Surfer, My Comments, Tag Surfer. There is no ‘write’ under dashboard link. Help!

  Is this the address of your blog? If it is that link should take you to the right dashboard; otherwise change the address and leave wp-admin at the end.

  If that’s not working either, when you’re in the global dashboard page, do you see a drop down menu on the top left? If you hover over that with your mouse you should be able to click through to your blog’s dashboard and be able to write your posts.

  When I activated my blog I got an error message. Maybe that is why there is nothing on my dashboard page. I think I will create a new blog and see if that one appears correctly. If it does I’ll know it was the error I originally got when creating this blog. Thanks for your help, but there is absolutely no info under dashboard to edit my blog. appreciate all your help.
