I am member of Daffodils toastmasters club.We had created the website few years back.

The previous person who was managing the website has left.

In order to do anything with at website, you’ll need to gain access to the account that owns the site and upgrades.
If you do not have access to that second account, here are a few options:

Account recovery form – https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recoveryFinally, even if you do not have access to the correct account, if you have your payment information you can use our “Why was I charged?” tool. It was built for situations such as this:
