Forgot my email

  Hi,

  WordPress Team.. Would you mind if you could email me direct to my email? I have a domain purchased from wordpress but the email I used to register is not available. Is there any way to update the email registered in that particular domain so I will be able to receive the ‘notice for renewal?’ thank you!

  Hello jhamjhamrunner!

  You can change your email address by going to your Account Settings.
  In order to access this page you need to be logged in with your username and password.

  Once you’re in your Account Settings page, you can enter your new email address on the Email Address field, then click “Save Account Settings.”

  You’re going to receive an email at the new address with a confirmation link. You must click the confirmation link to confirm the change and update the email on your account.
  Check in your junk/spam folder if you don’t see the email on your inbox.

  If you don’t receive any email of you’re not able to login to your account because of the email address issue, type modlook in the tag box of this thread to let the Staff know that you need assistance.

  Hi Stef,

  Thanks for the info. I just noticed that I already changed the contact email before. I think thing that frustrates me is I haven’t received an update or notice in regarding my purchased domain. :)
