Crossdomain.wordpress.com was created by me but I forgot the password. Not I am trying to login, it tells me account doesn’t exist or wrong password, whereas the site still displays the ‘Under Construction’ message which I had posted. Pls help

Choose the Lost Password option down at the bottom of the box, you will need either your username or email you registered the blog with,
I did not see any under construction message other than the stock one that comes with a new blog. Is that the correct blog?

Yes. The home reads as ‘Under construction, sorry for the inconvenience’. The lost password option says the account ‘crossdomain’ deown;t exist. I was not prompted for an email id while registering. so I am kid of super stuck. is there a way? Does wordpress remove blogs which are not in use. proabably i can restart at that time.

Then perhaps http://crossdomain.wordpress.com (the site you were referring to earlier) was registered under another username and/or email address. If you can’t remember which one, I suggest you contact staff:

You can’t have a blog or an account here without the email address – that is the master ID so to speak for WordPress.COM everything. The only way I can think of that you would not be ask for the email is if you are already logged in and create a new blog – then it should go under the account you are logged into.
