Forgot password AND email

  hi, a friend of mine forgot her password to her wordpress account today and she used the forgot password form, not remembering that the email accounts she used was gone and long forgotten. Is there anyway she could get her account back? There’s a lot of precious old posts in that account. Maybe some way she could verify that she’s the rightful owner?

  Any help would be much appreciated, thanks..

  She may be able to plead her case to support.

  As she can’t log into her account to use the link in the dashboard, she should send an email to support at wordpress dot com.

  No ideas on that one.

  Sorry.

  It’s up to them as to what information she’ll need to provide to prove the account was hers.
