forgot password and no access to email address

    Hello, I used to own the domain https://justinsphotography.wordpress.com/

    I now have the domain https://justinsphotographyblog.wordpress.com/

    I really wish to have my old one back from 2009 although have no access or idea of what email address i used possibly my old school one which i have now left school and moved on.

    I dont know the password i used.

    Is it possible if i can reclaim this one back at all please? I have not posted anything besides the one post back in 2009.

    Please assist.

    Aloha justinsphotographyblog, You could try the Account Recovery Form:

    On this form, you can provide certain pieces of information, under Proof of Ownership, to verify that you are the owner of the blog in question:

    • Transaction ID: A transaction ID is a unique alphanumeric code generated for your payment. If you purchased an upgrade on the blog in question — via PayPal, credit card, or another method — you can retrieve a transaction ID by logging in to your PayPal account or locating a past WordPress.com receipt sent to your email address.
    • Activation URL: When you created your WordPress.com account, we sent an activation link to your email address that you were required to click. If the email you received included a confirmation button instead of a link, you can copy the activation URL by right-clicking on the button and selecting “Copy Link Address” (this text may be vary slightly depending on your browser).

    Unfortunately i dont have access to any of these Transaction ID: or Activation URL:

    I tried that website and one of them is mandatory. is there anyway to contact wordpress directly to reset this?

    I have added the modlook tag so a staff member can take a look. They may be able to send an email to the account associated with your old site, but I’m not positive how all that works.

    Hi there,

    I can tell you that the username that owns that site is justin1269. If you use that username on the password reset form it will send a reset link to the correct email address, so if you receive it you will be able to log back in.

    If you don’t receive an email when doing that, chances are you no longer have access to the correct email address, in which case we’re unable to help any further with this. We cannot give you access to a site in another account under any circumstances unless you are able to verify your ownership as explained in the Account Recovery instructions.
