Forgot Password to Old Account

  Hello,

  I can’t be the only idiot who has ever forgotten a password for an old account associated with a now-defunct email. The account recovery link does not work as I can’t access the old email address to get a password recovery link or the original authentication url, and I didn’t set up two-factor authentication so the account recovery form doesn’t work either. I scoured this forum and the general wordpress site, but there are no links that help me, nor is there a general contact or help email where I can detail my question directly to a person. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?
