Forgot to renew domain name, how do I contact wordpress to see if can be recovered

  I failed to renew my domain name at the end of September – I thought my new hosting company was taking it over. It looks like WordPress still own the name but I have no way to contact them to see if it is still in the recoverable period. Anyone?

  The custom domain was gularavincent.com and it is now registered to wild West domains, according to the WhoIs lookup.

  Hi there,

  It looks like you pointed the domain to a new hosting provider, but you never transferred the registration itself to them, so the domain still needs to be renewed on our end.

  It doesn’t look as if that domain has entered redemption yet, so I might still be able to get it back for you and then you can renew it at the regular price. I’ve sent you a link via email which you can use to pay for the renewal, and then I can contact our registrar to try and restore the domain.

  Please note, however, that should the registrar reply that the domain is in redemption, there will be an additional $80 charge to get it back. But I will let you know, should that be the case. For now I’ve only sent a payment link for the renewal fee.

  Your domain has been restored, but it is currently suspended. You need to again verify your contact email address in order to reactivate it.

  I’ve sent you an email with a link you can use to do that. The email will come from a @secureserver.net address.

  Let me know once you’ve verified the email, then I can reactivate your private registration as well.
