Forgot username, not password

    — Please help me retrieve or change my username.

    Your login only lets me change my password. I need to change my username. I cannot login to my account in order to do so, since I cannot get past the first login screen. Please help!

    I had to create this new blog so I could post this question. I am not in need of the username for this blog, but a different blog I set up recently on WordPress.com

    You will need to first successfully log in under your old username before you can change it. If you can’t remember it, please go to https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery to request assistance regaining access to your account.

    Once you’re able to log back in under your own account, you can change your username following the directions here:
