Forgotten Username/Sign-In Issues

  A few years ago, I was given administrative control over a website on WordPress, but I did not have a WordPress account at that time. So now we need to make changes to the website, but we can’t figure out how to sign in. We think we know the username (the original website creator is not in contact to confirm) but inputting my email does not reset the password to that website, so we’re effectively shut out of it.

  What can we do?
