Form for users to Submit Stories and Photos

We would like to add a “Submit your Stories” form to our WordPress blog so that our readers can submit posts with stories and images to our blog, and then, upon our admin approval of the post, we could add their submitted stories to a category within our blog. What is the best way to go about doing this? I was looking at Widgets, plugins such as contact forms to accomplish this, but I didn’t see any that

Let’s begin with the fact that there is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into our blogs. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

You can add official users to your blog and assign them specific user roles. IMO that is the best choice for you.

You are a bit stuck here – you can add a person as a “Contributor” and they can only see and edit their own Post – you need to approve it so they can’t just do their own thing – the other sort of sucks thing is they can send you the info and links to pictures using the contact form – or they can just do the text with the contact form and you can email them back with a good email to send the pictures to.
Sorry not a real good workaround here – the only other option would be to link to a Forum from your site.

WuFoo forms work here now, but I have not played with them at all so I don’t know exactly what is and isn’t possible. Check out the support document on WuFoo and see if it is something you can use.
