Format a code example on my blog.
-
I want to add some example code to my blog. That code needs to retain formatting like indentation, tabs, etc. to be legible and useable.
I searched the WordPress support forums and tried the suggestion, but it didn’t retain the formatting. It seems the only way to format code is to get a GitHub account and use the ‘gist’ thing. However, I really don’t want to create yet another account on another site. There should be an easy way to post code examples to my blog, format it and have that formatting retained. I seems so simple.
Thanks!

Thanks.
I was able to get this guidance to work from the old WordPress editor.
I appreciate your help.
