Format changes when using Save Draft

    I have tried formatting a post two ways, both of which have a graphic running down the left side. I’m trying to get the text I enter to line up near the graphic. Have tried using a Table and slogging through the HTML and also tried just entering text. In both cases when I get the formatting done and hit Save Draft, the formatting changes – removing lines and cramming the text together or giving me huge gaps between. I’ve spent hours trying to get this very simple task done.

    Is what you want is a long skinny image on the left and then the copy to the right of that in paragraphs?
