Format Has Changed

HELP !!!!!!! After making my last post I have found that the format of my blog has totally changed and NOT for the better. It was more compact with borders and my widgets were in the right column now it is spreading over the entire page…it’s horrible. How do I get back to the original format.

Pasting HTML created in Word can cause havoc.
This might not work but is worth a try: Settings / Writing. Check the box for ‘correct invalidly nested code’ and save.

Thanks for trying but that did not appear to help…so frustrating…it’s like two months of posting down the drain. The page is a mess and before it looked so professional.

I just noticed that if you go to the next page where “previous entries” are posted, the page has the correct appearance. The problem is only on the first page to open. There has to be a way to fix this.

@ballymote, everything is NOT down the drain. It can be fixed.
If you have not already, go to settings > writing and make the change tellyworth suggested and click “save changes.”
Next, open your latest post, select everything in that post and then click the “remove formatting” icon on the lower toolbar (looks like an angled rectangle) and then click “update post.” Now take a look at your blog and you should see that things have returned to normal. If it does not, post back here and we will take another step.

As you might have guessed, your suggestion worked perfectly. Once again the Support Team at WordPress have proven how valuable they are (smart, too).
