format of emails from blog
-
Hi,
When I create a new blog post on our blog (explorelivingarchitecture.com) and Publish it, an email is sent automatically to the blog followers. The blog article itself looks great on the site, but in the email it looks quite different — the headlines are a different font, size, color, etc. I’m the new administrator of our blog and I can’t see where/how the emails are being sent and if there are any formatting choices that I could make. Can you help me out?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
The emails have their own formatting. I’m afraid you will not be able to adjust those. The email should look like this:
Is that what you’re seeing?

Thanks for your quick reply.
Yes, the emails look like the example you showed, but on the blog when I format text with Header1, Header2, etc., those headers look much different on the blog than when they show up in email. What is driving the text to look that way in the email?

The emails use a different styling template for H1 and H2 elements than the Blix theme. So, the size of the font and the font family might be a bit different. However, the relationship between header fonts and paragraph text should stay the same. The header text should be a bit bigger than the body text. Are you seeing something different?

The headers definitely look like headers compared to the body text. Is there a way to define the font/size/color of the headers that appear in the emails?

There is not. It isn’t possible to adjust the email format of your posts.

Thank you so much for your reply on all of this….that’s exactly what I wanted to know. Have a great day!
