format of emails sent with blog update

    I’m actually trying to help someone else with setting up her blog. We set her up with the subscription widget yesterday. emails are sent when posts are made. But is there a way to control the content of those emails? She’d rather have them go to the blog than have the actual content of the entire post be in the email. I have a feeling the emails might need to be done manually in email using the subscription list, but I’ve been wrong before.

    this is wordpress.com, not .org.

    Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> For each article in a feed, show >> Summery

    Check Summery not Full Text (default I think)

    Edit – I think the full text is the default – the summery works fine – set a friends blog to send summery today.
