Format of posts looks set to the side?

This is probably quite an easy question to answer for someone, but I’m new, and I can’t work it out.
On my posts – this one for example: https://onyajay.wordpress.com/2016/12/18/teach-your-child-to-drive/
the post itself is formatted to the side instead of centred nicely under the main photo. I notice that I can choose ‘standard’ , ‘aside’ , etc in the improved editor>post format>…then I always choose standard.
I imagined this to centre the post. I always ‘save’ or ‘update’ so why does it look set to the side of the page to the right?
When I’m in the editor it doesn’t look like that…it looks nicely centred. But on the real site, it isn’t. :/ This is making it look a little skewy and messy. Can you help? Thanks.

    Hi,

The alignment to the right of single posts on the Rebalance theme is an aspect of the theme design. Compare the post you linked to above with any post in the Rebalance demo. Post alignment is evidently independent of the post format. To alter the default alignment, if possible, would require CSS customization.

If you’re interested in looking into the possibility of modifying the alignment of single posts, then you may either submit separate request to the CSS Customization forum or add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.
