Format problem

  Two recent blog posts are not separating into paragraphs. It’s random.

  Hi there – If you look in the Text editor of that post, you’ll see that there’s a lot of extra HTML in there, such as div tags. Do you copy and paste your posts from some other service, such as Word? If so, try using the Paste from Word or Paste as Plain Text toolbar buttons:

  That will strip out any HTML that might cause formatting issues for you. Let me know how that works!

  I have a new MAC. Was using a PC laptop. That’s likely a factor and the interface between the MAC and WordPress does not work with videos unless I change the file designation (?) to MP4. I typed these two entries that are bunching up the paragraphs directly. I have no idea how to find or use the “text editor.” That’s over my head…

  The text editor is simply the tab at the top of the post, as shown here:

  See all those div tags? Those are unnecessary. I’m not sure how they got in there on that one post; usually it comes from copying/pasting.

  WordPress does not work with videos unless I change the file designation (?) to MP4

  What was the file designation that wasn’t working? It should work with MP4 (.mp4, .m4v), QuickTime movies (.mov), Windows Media Video (.wmv), Audio Video Interleave (.avi), MPEG (.mpg), Ogg (.ogv), 3GPP (.3gp) and 3GPP2 (.3g2).
